MY MARKETING PLAYBOOK

My diverse background has allowed me to test hundreds of different approaches to growth and has given me a unique point of view on how marketing can work for a business.

 

My marketing playbook has worked for many companies, helping them grow and increase revenue by over 210% YoY. Want to know the secret to my marketing playbook? There isn't one. There is no silver bullet and no one-size fits all marketing strategy. I build a strategy by reviewing the data. What data? Here's some examples: 

  • ROAS (Return on ad spend)

  • CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)

  • Website traffic

  • Conversion points + clicks

  • Historical success 

  • Ad performance

  • Content performance

I look at a company's business goals and the challenges they've faced. I ask about their nuances and their strengths and their budget (yes, you need a budget. Yes, even for organic). And then I look at the costs and the potential spend, and the time frame. Often I run research - surveying and interviewing customers (and potential customers) - to better understand what challenges we are solving. Then I build a strategy. This strategy will involve structured tests to learn from and to optimize.

 

Marketing success is driven by understanding what the consumer needs - and how we can solve something for them. Marketing channels and tactics are vehicles we use to tell different parts of that story through the funnel (awareness, consideration and conversion) and get our target human person at the other end to take the action we want.

Marketing has never been smarter, but also never been harder with all the noise that is in the market.  We need to evolve and be willing to try new things. Magic happens in strategy when you marry creative thinking, data, and a clear north star.
